We Plant Now, So We Bloom All Summer
There’s something about this season that feels personal.
April has not just been a month on the calendar for me — it’s felt like a mirror. A reflection of everything I’ve been building in the quiet, in the soil of my spirit, under the weight of prayers and promises I’ve made to myself.
I told Spirit at the top of this month:
“Show me how good life can get.”
Not just how good it might get… but how good it will get when I stop doubting my worth, when I stop dimming my light, when I stop shrinking my dreams to fit spaces that were never meant to hold my greatness.
And I’ve kept my promise to stay open to the answers.
This month, I’ve been doing the work in every way. Planting seeds in my garden with my hands in the dirt, yes. But also planting seeds in my mind, in my body, and in my businesses. Seeds of intention. Seeds of abundance. Seeds of belief.
And let me be clear: it’s not just about the planting — it’s about the watering. It’s about the daily tending. The quiet moments when no one is watching, and it’s just you and your dream deciding to choose each other again.
Here’s what that’s looked like for me:
Packing each journal order with my own hands, sealing them with love and vision for every person who receives them.
Preparing my art prints, knowing they carry the stories of our culture, our beauty, our resilience into homes across the country.
Honoring my body by moving it with care, feeding it with love, and listening to its whispers.
What I want you to know is this: the harvest is already happening.
It may not look like fireworks every single day, but I promise you, there is something growing beneath the surface right now. You just have to stay faithful to your planting.
That’s why I’m inviting you to join me in person, to witness this bloom in full color.
On April 19th, 2025, I’ll be a featured vendor at the Spring Forward Fine Art & Vendor Fair in Park Circle, North Charleston. It’s not just an event — it’s a celebration of creators, culture, and community. It’s a moment to come together and water each other’s dreams.
Here’s the beautiful part:
You’ll get to see my latest work, hold my journals in your hands, and feel the energy I’ve been pouring into this season. You’ll also connect with other artists and entrepreneurs who, like you and me, are choosing to plant boldly and believe in their bloom.
